I picked this up for almost nuthin so, I figured I would do the right thing, bust it open and get some pictures for all the pedal junkies here at FSB... I will try to trace it as I get time but, don't hold your breath... If somebody wants to have a go at it from the pics that's fine with me! If needed I can answer any questions you may have, get some better pics, part values, voltages etc..

This is a cool little box, loud as hell for the size and it's about as heavy as a paper clip!! Sounds damn good also but, it needs a little kick in the nuts from an overdrive to get it chuggin good... and it takes overdrives extremely well! I like it alot actually and it's quite amazing! The poweramp is a TDA7379 which is stereo quad or stereo bridged configurations and it's actually capable of 38 Watts!! That may explain why it's so loud :hmmm: The tube is a 12AX7 and it's operating at low voltage...

It's a pretty cool concept. Looking forward to see how they put it all together.

When I get a chance I will remove the tube and peel the black protective tape off so we can see the traces hiding underneath..

Somebody realized that it was just sitting in a box not getting any attention and it was going to continue sitting in a box so... I stole it for $50.

I was just eyeballin this and comparing it to the Micro Terror :hmmm: Looks very similar...

It is very interesting to get the scheme! I will follow the topic.

J0K3RX, I will ask you to see how the power supply voltage for TDA7379 is made. Stabilizer, or directly from the 15 volt power supply?
Why TDA7379 (4 channels) if there is TDA7279 (2 channels)? Thanks!

It's basically the same as the Micro Terror which uses the STA540.. The TDA7379 and STA540 are identicall as far as I can tell. Looks like it's running in the double bridge configuration using only the left side.

With the Micro Terror schematic there is something odd going on around R24 and R25, R24 is shorted out.

Thanks, guys! That's great! I was only interested in the power amplifier in this device.

Hi guys, i've been looking for gut shots to try and trace the Micro Dark and,

judging by this video
,
and these 2 images
orange micro dark count.jpg
terror stamp count.jpg
i came to the conclusion that both these amps are the same thing except for the extra volume on the Stamp.
There are 5 op amps in both the Dark and Stamp, and only 3 in the Micro Terror and they sound very different. And the Micro Dark is made with THT components only, wich would make it easier to figure out capacitor values.

So, if anyone has access to a Micro Dark and could post some pics of it i think that could kill two birds  :applause:
