I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Captain wrote somwhere that he is using linear pots for Fuzz and for Volume knobs.

The Current SI version has the same linear Volume pot taper and a 6K8 resistor on Q2's collector over the stock 8K2. The gives it a hair more volume.
The Head Buzz is a straight on the rocks replica. No bells or whistles. Its just supposed to sound like one of these.
