Still waiting to see some specs on this. I don't know if anyone has a clue what's under the hood. Not the original, I'm guessing.

I think someone might become very busy modding these with modulation and double delay times :) Thankfully, not me. :hmmm:

i'mm more under the impression that the lower red board (in the GW pic) is the original AP and the upper board (stil in the casing) is the re-issued MkII and it's SMD....

Neithr one is an "original" board - the originals were all blue, and a different layout. Jeorge has actually posted that photo here in another thread....

I watched a video from Namm taken by premier guitar yesterday. They interviewed Jeorge and he mentioned that the circuitry was the same as the original Aquapuss but utilised 'the low voltage BBD, 3205'. I presume (as per the other WH/Dunlop stomps) that the 2nd PCB houses the relay bypass circuitry.

It's great he is using the same design for the re-issue. I think it will be a big success, and ~$150 is a very reasonable in the same way the Carbon Copy is priced. I seriously doubt it will affect the pricing on the originals, though. In fact, I would not be surprised if some of those prices go up as soon enough there will be plenty of people saying it doesn't have 'the same magic' as original :slap:

not to get off topic but shouldn't this thread go under the "Modern Stompboxes" forum? after all the new way huge pedals are manufactured by dunlop and you'll be seeing this pedal at guitar center most likely with the other new way huge pedals they carry.
Use boost pedals

Here's a schematic for anyone interested in what's really under the hood. I traced it out last summer and kinda forgot about it. I drew the schemo close to Madbeans topology to make for easy comparing to the aquaboy. Really, there's not a whole different stuff goin' on other than the obvious. I did like how he used the DM-3's method for powering the v3205.

Not much to discuss really on this one. I'm really digging up an old thread!

I'm curious about the use of the BL3102 over the v3102. And the mix of transistors. I noticed that there is a missing resistor--the 47k dry input into the inverted input of U4-B.

Thanks for the schematic!
