Does your camera have a "macro" setting? If so, use that, and you'll be able to get some really close up, in focus shots.

probably another JFET design ala SFT and WIIO. they seem to be having a lot of success with these types of emu's. it sounds pretty cool to me!

That's the pedal but I'm not trying to get metal out of it. Just some solid rock and blues, with volume and pick sensitivity, not mushy wound strings on the neck pickup.

I searched but did not find. It's a $100 Insignia Camcorder.

LOL, I looked in the wrong place. I thought is was an internal setting, not an external switch. Better but I prolly could use a better camcorder. Here's another try.

Thanks for the pics.

Can you get one each squarely of the front and back sides of the board (frame the whole board in the viewer and snap a shot), with some good lighting on the surface, and then the same front and back shots with the lighting from behind the board?

Got some more. It's an improvement but could still use some work.

2 series mu-amp stages (similar to the basic DLS topology minus the followers).
Passive tone/gain network interrupting first and second amplifier stage (ref: Fender 5E3 circuit).
Passive output control (volume) after second stage.
Done.

Any pointers for a good close up affordable camcorder or camera? Would a $100 camera typically outperform a $100 camcorder here?

Oh, it doesn't have the signature 5E3 channel canceling... I guess I'm the only one that does that. :?

Alright, then a $50 to $100 digital camera should be my low cost step up.

Channel canceling? What's that sound like?

Yeah, that would be great! :thumbsup
Btw. it is one of the most good looking CB designs. I realy dig that look - somewhat reminds me of this: http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200 ... 0fsvew.jpg

They are getting a lot of mileage out of those 5457s! All those pedals sound damn cool to me. I have a DLS clone on my board right now and really dig it. If a scheme for this one comes out, I'd be curious to at least breadboard it and then A/B the two. Another pedal that piques my curiosity is the Mantra OD by Blackout Effectors

Just wondering if any progress on the schematic on this pedal? Love its sound, and would love to make one.

thanks
Rob
