I've always liked this Popular Electronic Fuzz circuit because it had the waveforms:
"Build a Fuzz Vox for Electric Guitar" by Anthony Leo, February 1968.
Feel free to move this if U want, modman.
I have the three other pages also (entire article in jpg) if anyone wants....
keep on fuzzin'

As it turns out the schematic in Popular Electronics Feb 1968 (p42) had an error. The 1n cap (C2) which connects between the wiper and the output terminal was missing from the schematic.
The error was corrected in Popular Electronics March 1968 (p97) - see attached
The circuit, by Anthony Leo, originally appear in Electronics Australia Aug 1967 (p73).
It also appeared in Radio Electronics Feb 1968 (p96). And re-appeared in Electronics Australia few times.
You will see small variations in the transistors used.
