Those are supposed to be can transistors. Just realized that they're backwards.
I just used the ones Devi has on ilf and that she posted here. I'd give links but I'm on an itouch.

Most board-mounted pots have their pins spread over three adjacent pads. You have yours with a one-pad space between each pad. In other words, board-mounted pots probably wont' fit.TheAttackman wrote:could anybody resize it to actuall size (with board mounted pots)
... and why resize a pic that in no way relates to the layout which, incidentally, is missing stuff?
Also, I don't understand why you split it in half & rejoined it in a different order?
Do you have photos of this PCB that we can look at?

I'm doing this from scratch. I put an aenima and a sm on one board. Straight from schematics.. I accedentallu put those two boards on the wrong sides so I had to swap them...
And pieces are missing cuz diy layout creator can't do metal can trannies...

Moved this one because there was no real circuit analysis or gut shots. Really, it's an effects project.
Hi guys & gals. I was just wondering if anybody could confirm if I have spotted a mistake with the layout posted ? In the parts list it says that D1 is a 2n2222A, should that be 1n4001 like the one on the S.M. section, or should it be a transistor. The layout has a diode at D1 but it has a legend for B & E of the transistor. I have noticed the legend at the bottom of the page giving the pinout of D1 so I think I may have managed to answer my own question but, just in case. I'm new to this sort of thing and a tad confused! Any help or advice anybody could provide me with would be very gratefully received indeed. Thanks, Matt

Bump..
I'm also interested in getting confirmation about D1!

I'm gonna give it a go in the next few weeks, I'll post my report when I do.

Any chance on giving me an insight on how to wire this for parallel switching? I can only seem to have success with series switching. In other words, I have to engage the Torns Peaker first to be able to engage the Soda Meiser.ibodog2 wrote:Not my favorite sounding fuzzes, but I worked the kinks out tonight.
