EHX Electric Mistress 1980 EH5100D Transistor

Hi,
I have EHX Electric mistress from 1980 that has a blown transistor and trying to find out what was there originally According to schematic it should be a 2N4354, but I haven't found these in a TO-92 format, only TO-106. The only marking left on the transistor is "942" at the bottom(under the transistor model probably) and three white painted markings on the back.

Does anybody know what this transistor is, or what it should be? Maybe seen in another EM?

Probably just about any pnp with 500ma spec on the collector will work there, just to make sure the pedal is ok. Then worry about a original if you can find one.
