hi

i bought the oceanid pcb from aion fx
i built it and it was fine until i tested the buffered or truebypass section of the small pcb on the footswitch which i had to hardwire because i didnt have a switch so after solder and desolder that section 2-3 times so i can decide, the small pcb damaged and now the whole pedal is not working

i tried to wire it without the small pcb and wire it direct to the footswitch but i had no succes

anyone can help? i want to wire it without the small pcb direct to the footswitch

1) Youtube how to solder. 2) Youtube how to repair lifted pub traces. I would invest in a temperature controlled soldering iron. A good iron will heat it up to the right temperature quickly allowing for quick work. If you are having to sit for too long on a connection, pads will heat up enough that the glue that hold them on lets go. My guess is that you didn't have enough heat when trying to remove the jumpers. Your switch connection also looks like it tidbit have enough heat. I hope that is helpful.

Do you want the true bypass or the buffered version?
Do you have another 3PDT switch or are you using that one? De-soldering the switch from the small PCB may definitely damage the PCB and/or the switch itself

Ok.
On your main PCB you have some connection pads:
In, gnd, +v, buf, fx.

fx is the out of the effect.
Ignore buf

Use the wiring diagram #5 on the pdf downloadable from tonepad (just ignore the battery snap wires). Google "tonepad offboard wiring"
