Cordless Soldering Irons

Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

Has anyone used a cordless soldering iron? Are they suitable for working on guitar-related electronic projects, like a fuzz box kit?

I had a bad experience with the radio shack version..never going there again
