the ugly face is more versatile. i built a pwm, you can get all the same sounds with the ugly face and more if ya add the lfo option.
i still haven't boxed up the pwm. cool pedal, i did some mods to it and found ways to make it into a legit booster/od as well as pulse width pedal...do a search on diystompboxes for the thread if ya wanna check it out.

Yeah I had worked in some mods on the breadboard too. Even added some LDR's for maximum nonsense.pinkjimiphoton wrote:the ugly face is more versatile. i built a pwm, you can get all the same sounds with the ugly face and more if ya add the lfo option.

I think I'll definitely look into the Uglyface though. The LFO options sounds very interesting! Thanks for the demo.

my pleasure!!
i forget the mods, but if ya bridge a couple pins on the 386 (man, i don't remember what's in it , lol) you can get a "normal" fuzz out of the pwm, and it can get insanely loud...i put a switch on mine so i could use it either way, and get a good boost for solos if i need it. but, it doesn't sound like the pwm then tho.
peace!
