Thanks.
Funny, some of the battery connections seem to be backwards in a couple of the schematics; notably, the Tone Bender.

Nope...check the electrolytic orientation...soulsonic wrote:Thanks.

the "battery" isn't backward, they put the transistors as NPN when they should be PNP !
You're welcome. All of those scans are actually the ones I made from my files and sent to AG several months ago.Dirk_Hendrik wrote:Thanks!!
I've also got a number of Vox amp schematics and an organ schematic, maybe two, if anybody is working on one and could use it. They are rather large and a bit of a PITA to scan, but if you need one and I have it then I'll email it to you. I also have the specs on most of the Vox guitars but they don't break down the electronics modules. Shame, because those sandwich boards are a bugger to work on.

Yep...I forgot where I got these from...
Give thanks to Geoffrey Teese for the scans.
I just decided to share them with the world !

a very kind offer !
Absolutely, that is why I gave them to AG. I had thought he would possibly verify and redraw them and then post them on his site as well as this one. I don't have a photo-sharing account anywhere and therefore can't upload vintage schematics for public access.MoreCowbell wrote:Yep...I forgot where I got these from...

Other than Vox schematics, I've been a Vox-aholic since the '60's, my collection is pretty varied but somewhat eclectic. I haven't seen anyone requesting any schematics that I have which don't get posted before I even read the thread.

http://www.villagephotos.com is a free site that allows you to post / store up to 50 photos. If you get a "paid account" it allows a bunch more, but i've found the "50 photos" option quite useful.Geoffrey Teese wrote:Absolutely, that is why I gave them to AG. I can redraw them, and correct the things like upside-down transistors, and include all the info on one page so each unit isn't split between two pages.
Just say, "do it" and I'll do it.

I'll start work on redrawing them this afternoon.
Thanks for sharing them Geoffry, though I know neither you nor AG intended them to be distributed like this, at least we'll get it squared away soon. It is a valuable asset to the community, and gives some good insight into early versions of some circuits that are considered common now.

First batch of redrawn schematics is up! Check 'em out and let me know if you see any errors. I was able to fix some inconsistencies between the schemes and the BOM.
Thanks again to Geoffrey Teese!
You can find them here:

P.S.
I spelled Geoffrey's name wrong on the scheme... sorry.
At least I didn't spell it with a "J".
