Hi everybody....

Could somebody please tell me which kind of LDR is the best sound selection (the more accurate close to the original).-
I first tried with a quartet of CLAIREX CdSe CL5P4 with a great results.
I tried SILONEX type 7 (NSL-7530) and works fine -not to much modulation than the first (CL5P4) but fine... (i don't know if it will work better with ldr right oriented to the lamp more close possible)
I tried too a type 4 SILONEX NSL-4510 (that kind of LDR seems to sound more 3D but it lacks some high frecuencies) like a filter.-

Somebody told me that VT33N2 from Perkin Elmer is a better option but I don't have it.-
Is there somebody who's maybe had try a Fuji & Co. MKY-7H49 LDR ???

I'm waiting your comments!
Kind regards,

DAVE
PS: sorry 4 my english

Yes, Sorry... where I write Type 4 NSL-4510 was wrong. I mean the same that you used.- Type 5 NSL-5540.- (more 3d sound but it filter some high frecuencies... so If you play the notes on the 1° and 2° string 12 frets to up, you almost hear nothing.

I dedicate my Replica UV files to my old friend Burt, who recently started to call himself DrVibe (previously called himself 'We'), and who is selling replica Univibe boards for $240.

Is there somebody who finished a Replica that sounds like the video?
And if its right, what part number of LDR do you use?

I spend a lot of money in LDR and I'm still trying to find the most accurate as the original.

Dave, that video on youtube by fuzzfaceexp is a replica uni-vibe. You can see that the onclosure has screws and some other small details that give it away. I had already found this guys blog in japan where he had additional pictures of the build. He didn't say what bulbs or ldrs were used and he hasn't answered my message that i wrote to him a long time ago about that. So i guess he will keep it to himself. But yeah, that thing sounds really like what i would expect from an original.
