Does anyone have a link to the 20mm pots used for a replica build? Much prefer a link to a source in North America. What is the length of the shaft? I do not think standard 24mm pots will work for these.
Thanks

Omeg 20mm pots are what you want. Freely (OK cheaply) available in Maplins UK. Here's a German source http://www.musikding.de/Omeg-Pot-20mm Don't know a USA source. Shafts can be cut to suit.

I recently bought ten Tung Sol AC125 Transistors, might use three of them to make a Mk III Tonebender soon.....

Those will not work with sinner's layout. That requires the "reverse" right angle PCB mount terminals.ringworm wrote:Omeg 20mm pots are what you want. Freely (OK cheaply) available in Maplins UK. Ok, these are quite old, I had newer one, with fatter tracks and pads, few ad-ons like jumpered output resistor, or added pads for 4th transistor wired as a diode, and generally more charming - but I can't find it, I have a mess on my hard drive
These are layouts for quite a few MK3 variants including units branded by subcontractors, and two knob fuzz sound
Have fun

What Sinner says. You'll need to bend the pins back but that's easy. The only problem you might come across is the threaded part of the pot not being deep enough on a very thick enclosure or unusually thick PCB board, it can be tight but it'll work.Over Drive wrote:Those will not work with sinner's layout. Awesome work on those layouts Sinner btw!

This and the pins are not going to have a lot of length on them. Have you tried the pots yet?ringworm wrote: The only problem you might come across is the threaded part of the pot not being deep enough on a very thick enclosure or unusually thick PCB board, it can be tight but it'll work.
