Hi friends
Just thought I would share an url where I have found almost every program or music CD I have ever wanted
I am sure many of us old timers already know of it - the noobies might gain something though.
As a word of caution - the site does contain a lot of files which are actually porn, however you can right click on the progress bar (when it changes colour to blue) and check under the "details" tab, if it is the correct or bogus file - you will soon see
Most of the audio CDs are zipped up as .rar files - download Winrar and crack code from the site and they you have it.
enjoy

No version for Mac? But will check on my kitchen pc though...
Using Limewire, but don't download much. Miss those Napster days, so perhaps I should check it out.
thanks bajaman

I have a friend who uses a Mac - but he is on big money, so actually BUYS CDs
Napster was great, but emule is much better in my humble opinion - what would you like
Cheers

but it'll make you want a rapidshare account however,
when using a peer to peer sharing software application you upload at the same time as downloading which is when the movie and record companies go after you,
emule is great tho it was my choice till I found warez-bb
might edit this and delete the link after a few days, just in case it causes trouble with the IP police, enjoy

Demonoid has a Mac section, complete with sub-sections, ad quite a lot of Mac software!
BTW, I'm a strict Mac user
Just get a good Torrent program for Mac (I use one called Transmission), and away you go!
If you understand/know how to use torrent's, IMHO it's 1000% better and safer than P2P software like Limewire or anything else...

Just did a quick search and after a quick browse this one seems pretty good :
http://www.nowplayinglyrics.com/torrents.html
One tip though is to view the files inside the torrent before you download it, just to make sure you can open the filetypes and what files are there etc, this can be done any almost every torrent site
Also, be sure to check comments on a torrent to see if people are having trouble or anything
Hope it goes well

There are trackers far more private than demonoid, if you have the right friends. However, they also tend to have extremely strict rules for invitations.

everything I've wanted to find lately I've found posted on blogspot. there is so much free music linked to filsharing sites it's ridiculous- much of which is quite rare. a quick google search can usually get me there, and I don't need to mess with any outside programs. I find this truly the easiest possible way to go these days.
