I have a question regarding this layout.
Looking at the 22n cap that I have arrowed...and its corresponding trace...the trace just continues right under it and doesn't connect it to anything ?
It really looks to me that the cap isn't doing anything ?
Can someone clarify ?
Thanks !!
Dan

OK I've corrected the pcb by JohnK, however I can't edit the parts layout with transparency etc... I hope it's clear enough.
I've build two of them without noticing this mistake, but I've soldered C15 correctly according to the schematics so everything was fine.
It's a good thing to always have the schematic besides the pcb layout when you're working on it. edit: remember all the pots pin1 are connected to ground.

Yeah. I couldn't get the pcb to size up properly to print and I didn't like how it touched up after I eliminated the jumpers...
So I decided to "re" lay it out in DIYLC and that's when I noticed it.

Okay.
I re-did this and I added onboard 18V.
Anyone care to look it over and let me know if I'm making any grievous mistakes.
This is my first real shot at adding something like onboard voltage conversion...
Thanks !

Are you sure you need this charge pump?danielzink wrote:Okay.

I've tried to run this circuit at different voltages, and it's perfect at +9VDC, +12VDC, and +18VDC. But I prefer its behaviour with 9V, less gain makes the volume pot more usable without overclipping my already dirty amp's input.

Ha !
No....I'm not sure
I just saw the +18v in and thought maybe this would be easier.
If it runs well on +9v then I'm in ! I'll leave the layout there in case someone does want to build it that way - but hey - I'm happy with 9v.

Maybe someone has the same experience to share about the voltage of this circuit?
At leat to me 9V is ok with all my amps (from the cleaner to the dirtier).

Okay,
Final layout.
Gonna build this with the "option".
