Hi,
I offered this to Bugg but got no reply.
Its only a rough drawing of a unit I had for a brief period some years ago.
Some weird stuff going on...........but it is a Zen derivative. Gooped to blazes................
The person sanding the IC had an off day, I could still make out the IC code if it was held just at the right angle to the light.
Not trying to rain on Buggs parade here, just trying to help.

thanks for this mockup.
i think the VOICE link is needed.
From the picture, the trace to R21 seems cut but could it be connected on the other side of the pcb?

Hey cool, that's pretty close to what I have as well. A couple values difference, but overall similar.

Those dead-end components were pretty cool, can't say I've seen that before.

BTW I didn't get a message (or email) from you, where did you send it?

It was not. There were two RC networks that didn't go anywhere, coincidentally these areas were not covered in goop.

I have a V2.1 2014 on hand. It was my dad's and I inherited it a few months ago. Haven't spent much time playing it to be honest and put it on the "for sale" pile, but maybe I'll give it some more attention.

The board is designed in a way that the mounted DC jack sits flush in the enclosure, so I can't take the board out unless I desolder it. I don't want to bother doing that to take a look if you guys won't find that useful. Especially if I go that far and it's gooped.

It's gooped, and traced, don't tear yours up. :D

I'll post the schematic shortly, it's verified now.

Would love to see the schema and see how it compares to the other dumble-like pedals

Yeah. I’m waiting on schemo too. Gonna buy Buggs PCB and think I have almost all parts at Tayda ready to buy!

TESTED!!!

Works perfectly!!! :)

The Electronic Circuit works perfectly. On Saturday I will compare with the original so I will report the results.
By the way, be sure to connect Level 1 to the ground of the pcb .. otherwise it will create a problem if the level 1 pin of the potentiometer is connected to the ground of the box!

Thanks so much for contributing this... and coming back after building this. Verification is still what set schemo's here apart from randomly googled ones...
but please feel free to use the attachment function, most of the maintenance work on the forum is fixing dead links...
Even after attaching, you can still edit the message, replace the attachment etc.

There is also a special tab in the User Control panel.
Please, support freestompboxes.org on Patreon for just 1 pcb per year! Or donate directly through PayPal

Sorry for the improvised wooden box, this one is for testing purposes only:
20200704_154744.jpg
I will try to give a brief description of the work of the clone I did. The pedal has been compared today with the original (ver.3 2004) and I can say that it behaves almost identically. The operation of the potentiometers is identical, the tone is identical in all positions.
Considering that I worked the PCB with the use of cheap 2n7000 aliexpress Chinese transistors, I can say that I am very satisfied.
By using original transistors and better capacitors, I think that the last glimmer of doubt will disappear.
Btw. we used two amps and two guitars:
Fender Bassman 59 (Clone) & Fender Blues Deluxe RI, and Fender Mex Telecaster & Gibson Les Paul Traditional with custom pickups!

Superbly done pedal schematic. Big thanx to the @bugg for the contribution!

What's the purpose of those parallel caps? C12 & c13? I'm asking because if you connect c12 to accent 1 and leave c13 as is...it works as a high presence filter. Did someone try this?
