Hi all,
I've been trying to find a nice tone stack for my simple Bazz Fuss circuit.

I was after something that wasn't just rolling off some highs. Maybe adding a bit of colour. I feel like the tone circuit is an important part of the overall sound of the pedal.

So found this Big Muff tone circuit that's kicking around.
https://guitarpedalbuilders.blogspot.co ... ntrol.html

Ive wired it up to the same specs and placed it after the pcb output.

BUT It's more extreme than I was hoping for. I'm getting really muddy low tones to nasty super high noisey sounds.
(I tried running the tone circuit and a bypassed-tone signal together. It was better but the tone circuit became too subtle.)

If I wanted something smoother/less extreme, would it be a matter of just changing the cap values until I get something nicer to the ear?

or should I be looking at a different tone circuit? Rat?

Appreciate any wisdom! :-)
