Hi folks,

There is an error in the schematic diagram. :!:

Can anyone find out?

(This could be a new section of the forum: post circuits that seem functional without actually being... )

Cheers,
Jose

Good catch ppluis0.

I wont reveal it yet to give others a chance to spot it.

Yeah VR1 has all 3 pins bridged rendering the pot non functional.
Do I now get a cookie.

Also I have not looked real hard but as the clean is mixed with Dist output then the signals at C3 out will be out of phase,,Which might prove interesting to try out. :hmmm:

The phase looks ok, as both the clipping and filter stages are non-inverting. It would be cool to experiment with out of phase though!

Well no cookie for me ay?
Yes I missed the point that OD signal joins before R6 not After. durh :slap:
So yeah both would be in phase,, but I'm wondering what effect would happen if it was Out of phase?

Sure there would be some kind of loss but Maybe some harmonics would be enhanced in the process.
might have to BBoard it and find out. :hmmm:

There are also errors in the original layout, the identifiers of R7 and R8 as well as C5 and C7 are swapped.
I made a PCB clone and traced the circuit.
