Hi everyone.
I've been having a look at these biyang pedals lately, trying to find what they were trying to clone.
I'm saying "trying to" on purpose, since there always seem to be some variation on the original, even on their rat clone.
In this case it's a bit surprising, it really looke like a d+ / 250, but the gain is wired differently AND they use à LM308, AND some values are different, AND they use led clipping.
I've seen some websites putting it in the Boss BD-2 clone list... but everyone in here knows that it's not.
Does anyone know of what they could have wanted to clone in the first place, other than trying to do a D+/250 with a LM308 ?

Thanks !

I drew a stripboard layout for BL-8 in case someone wants to try it out. Not a bad simple OD i think...
