I really dig this circuit. Thanks a bunch for sharing. Really works in tandem with SG and Princeton. 🤙

There are so many tried and tested circuit to build that I wouldn't think people would try these... but thanks for your feedback -- I take it the circuit worked as drawn? That's never a given in these magazines.

Yes, sir, it worked quite well in my current setup (even when paired with Sonic Stomp and related circuits). But then, my bench rig is set to accommodate such circuits, so who knows how others might find it? 🤷‍♂️

As for testing these old magazine circuits, I lack a good foundation in basic electronics and so feel obliged to go back to the beginning (of audio/guitar-related circuits, at very least) and review>build>tweak as possible, to include those that others have long surpassed. Paying my dues, I suppose.

Thanks again. Tinkering helps to ease my nerves, so I am always appreciative of folks like you (and the many other champions here) who generously share such goodies and help folks like me cultivate the knowledge needed to achieve steady, sturdy builds (and groovy sounds 🤩).

Aloha, D 🤙

Looks like a neat treble booster, thank for sharing. The frequency response looks like a fixed wah pedal. I was thinking that you could change the peak frequency by increasing C3 to lower the frequency to say 800 or 1000 Hz. You could try putting a 1 or 2.2 uF cap in parallel with C3 (using a switch) so you can have two frequency modes.
