twofer stupid pedal trick today.... my version of the fuzzrite with some tricks... switchable germanium/silicon extra third stage, built in sag control for the power supply, a bit of choosing the right transistors... and wahoo, one fuzzrite plus is born. this thing is sick.

will upload schematics and shit soon as i get to it. may take forever, or it may take a minute, no promises either way...lol

shoutout to Barry Steindel, whom's most excellent american fuzz from GuitarPCB.com made the perfect substrate to excorcise this fuzzy vision and make it sing,.... fuzzrites are awesome. so much fun, hopefully the gent whom this belongs to loves it for long time.

thanks for dealing with me and standing by all these years.

Hi there!

Your Fuzzrite project with a switchable germanium/silicon stage and integrated sag control is really something! For the schematics, take your time, patience always pays off. But be careful when you share them online. With cybersecurity these days, you can never be too careful. In any case, hats off to you for a job well done!

fuck cybersecurity. i am pink jimi photon, i am and have been and always will be a fucking outlaw, and anybody has an issue with what i post, they can fuck right fucking off. seriously.

i have posted hundreds if not thousands of circuits over the decades, and if someone has an issue, too fucking bad. not YOU, i am saying in general.

hundreds of guys i know have built and sold my shit. i am not worried about it. i decided long ago to give to the community i came from, and tho i've been ripped off by a few assholes, most folks have been fine.

rock on.

brother! good to see ya!
thanks so much... i will try and get the schematic up soon, i've been so busy lately with gigs and repairs i just haven't had much time.

basically, make both pots a1m, add a third identical stage to the end, make the 3rd stage switchable between npn ge and si <pn2222's> and i forget the ge...

the starve control is a b50k pot with a 10k resistor from lug 1 to ground. v in and out to the other two. that's basically it.

Sounds great! Would love to see the schematic. How did you do the sag control?

hi neil,
the easiest way possible. b50k pot, 10k resistor from pin 1 to ground, v in pin 3, v out pin 2
