Thought I'd share how I did mine, been putting off sharing but I think I did alright with it, but I've been a long time reader in the forum's but never been a big contributor.
I had help with my first pcb design, and there was a lot of issues with everything, using the photos I saw posted here, I made a rough copy and was going to do the ol peel n stick transfer method, which ended up with me redrawing the traces again in altium designer.

Apart from trying to source enclosures to fit the pcb, i decided to get a bit of 3mm alloy bent for my (What I refer to as ShrEddie)

don't know if you can see the picture i added, but I am pretty happy with the results.

For C3, C4, and C5 I just noticed I got polarized capacitors and the schematic shows non-polarized. Will this matter? If it does not matter, which way should the (+) side go?

you need bipolar caps on those ones, 80-100 uf 100v you can get from eBay or anyone that sells crossover parts

Yeah its cool. Sounds great. Uses the AMT CP-16 board for the IR's

I meant no offence, as I don't know you from a bar of soap, I heard for about a year that it used the cp-16 module but nobody ever took pictures... and I prefer seeing pictures for verification over the internet. sorry I didn't check this forum out for a while, it never gives you email notifications when someone posts something

you can edit your notification preferences in User Control Panel -> Board preferences -> Edit notification options

I'm workin on a DIY version right now. I simplified the circuit a bit and I think it should still sound the same. Waiting for all the parts to arrive.

Hi Soulsonic, did you ever find any cause to the distortion? You mentioned the fan or LED as a possible cause of this.
I got a used Reactive Load, sounds great, but there is a unnatural decaying distortion as chords ring out.

I admit that I haven't spent any more time analyzing the Reactive Load lately. I am still skeptical about the fan and LED being driven directly by the signal. If I find time for it, I will reassemble my DIY one and try comparing it again more closely (I had taken it apart to add more heatsinking). I did enounter a different kind of low frequency distortion in the DIY one, but this seems to be the sort typically caused by the transformer - which is a bit disappointing, but not surprising.
Previously when I had tested the load boxes, I had used a solid state amp. Next time, I will use a tube amp, which I expect should give different results.
