Hi everyone,
I built the Aion P2 (Cygnus) it sounds very good but it is extremely noisy when the volume and sustain control are high (no hum but white noise hiss).
I have already tried several transistors and double checked the wiring and soldering.
Is it normal for the P2 to be so noisy?
Thanks.

Definitely not normal, no. I would get out an audio probe and try to isolate where the noise is being added. Each segment of the circuit gets its own isolated supply so that may provide some answers.
I would also try a different power supply if you have one available. It might not be coming from inside the pedal. Also try it with a buffer (or the low-impedance output of another pedal) in front. The P-2 is double buffered, but the wires still have to get from the input jack all the way to the first buffer by way of the stomp switch, so if the wiring isn't tidy then it could be picking up noise there. If an external buffer fixes it, then it's a wiring issue.

Hi Aion, what an honor!
I tried different power supplies, including batteries, without any differences.
I don't think it's a ground problem, it's not a hum but a rustle, with and without guitar and cables connected.
With audio probe I hear an imperceptible rustle at the first stage that is increasingly amplified in the subsequent stages until it becomes very loud.
I'll try to do further tests, I hope to solve it, I use an original layout and PCB, I'll soon complete the P1 and I hope it doesn't have the same problem.
On the same layout and wiring I made the G2 which is very silent.
Thanks again for the reply.
