Ben Crowe from Crimson Guitars posted a video on youtube where he takes a apart a Fender Acoustasonic, which has Fishman Electronics and the batterypack.

Thanks for the video! I checked it out but wasn’t able to get a good look at the PCB…
I’m hoping someone here has one and wouldn’t mind sharing some pictures of the front and back. I found a picture here: https://khronscave.blogspot.com/2019/09 ... h.html?m=1, but, unfortunately, is not head on and there’s no pictures of the back.

Hey! It’s been a while. Just wanted to let you all know that I was able to trace it and am working on a PCB. I am however missing a resistor value.
I’m reaching out to @Voffkins for help, however, if anybody has a unit, would you mind measuring that resistor for me? It’s R11 on the back. Thanks!

I think it is risky to just go by a trace, unless this is just a way of understanding what is going on. Don't assume you can just roll a PCB and expect it to work. This is a rechargeable battery, and as such it needs charging circuitry as specified by the battery supplier.
If there is some on/off circuitry, it is probably also better to design that around the functionality you want.
These batteries can go "Bang!" and cause a fire, proceed with caution.

No worries! I've been reading a lot into lithium batteries and battery charging. I've been working on this for quite a while now and am confident in my trace. I finished my PCB and have it on order. Since I'm using a different charger, I had to add a few extra bits.

Did look at these, can you share a schematic of how you did this (would love a 18V variant, as that is what I typically use for onboard electronics (on electric basses))?

You can use mine as an example.
It's a replacement for a fender acoustasonic charger/boost module which i've designed and built from scratch.

I’ll post the schematic after I verify it.
Just like in @plush’s schematic, you have to change the feedback resistors in order to set the output voltage.
R1 is 1.43M Ohm
R2 would then be 105k Ohm

Quick update, PCBs and parts are still in transit. I hope it’ll just be another week or so… Waiting impatiently
