Thank you for alerting us!
I was not completely surprised, though. The base theme (on which all other themes build) carries a heavy technological debt, being more than 10 years old. I've done a bit of cleaning, but it appears I neglected some moving parts.
I lost patience with the base theme and I started a complete rehaul of the 'Modern' theme's CSS, which should be ready much faster than the new theme I teased Modman about a long time ago. So, until the rehaul completes, I applied a local patch to fix this particular issue.

We are up to date once again, with both the server and the forum software. The update went smoothly, like it does every time. I wish the site engines I'm working with professionally could be as dependable as phpBB.

They look fine to me.mauman wrote: ↑16 Feb 2023, 23:46 Recently, the page selection links at the top right corner of posts (for page 1, 2, 3, etc) have disappeared beneath the content (see pic attached.) Links at the bottom of posts are still visible and accessible. It's the same with either Chrome or Firefox, so it's not browser-specific.

We are under some intermittent stress for some time now, causing mainly load on the database. While investigating, I cleaned some spider webs from the server and HTTP/2 works now, which should translate to a springier website. I was sure I did this a few years ago, but somehow did not activate nor check activation. Oh well, it works now ¯\__(ツ)__/¯

Another update, both for the server software and the forum software, both a bit long overdue. Thus, more changes underneath than usually, so, please, let us know if something is not right.

Has the text gotten smaller ?
Or is it just me getting older.

A trick I've come to use very often !
Though I never had to use it here on FSB, until the most recent update. Probably a coincidence then.

Thanks for taking the time to do this, but I'm not entirely certain if anything changed for me. So I did a little experiment and it is with great relief that I can tell you it is not my eyes ! There's something odd going on with Firefox, but only when logged in.
In Chrome and Edge, it all looks bigger than I remember, so the bump to 14 worked like a treat. I went through Firefox settings and couldn't find anything out of place.
Attached are some snippets of screenshots from this thread, top one is Firefox when logged in, bottom is Firefox when logged out, which is nearly identical to Chrome and Edge. (The longest sentence is just a couple of pixels narrower in Firefox, the height of the letters is identical)
When logged in in Edge, all the text was big. I didn't try logging in with Chrome, though, as it was clear by then that Firefox is the culprit.
Typing this reply while logged in in Firefox, the text here in the textbox is all nice and big, the preview is tiny.
