Dunlop CAE Wah Pedal Foxrox Mod

Hey Guys, new to the Board, been searching for a few days on how to hook up this Foxrox mod on this Wah Pedal. Foxrox has no info on this pedal. I emailed them but never got a response. The Mod has a Red, Black ( 9v power) and a White ( input) and Blue ( Output).

I have been playing around with it today, I took the Blue wire off the wah Pot, and connected white lead from the mod, to the pot, and connected to the Blue wire back to the blue wire. And connected the power.

Result was Pedal did good on the bypass mode, but once engaged, the wah did not wah at all, I got the fuzz sound through the pedal, but it didn’t wah.

So, I’ve got some more work to do. I guess my biggest issue is where do i put the white and blue wires? Ive seen some say input and others say output at the switch.

The Pedal has a 3p3t switch, Im assuming, it has 6 connectors, which it has 6 pin ribbon cable coming from the switch to the main board.

I know the Newer crybaby has the 4 ribbon cable, and the cable is removed to mod that pedal. So maybe my connection is in the 6 ribbon cable. .

My plan is to put a sin wave into the wah, and use my oscilloscope to fine the input and output after the wah.

If anyone has done this mod, and has it working, Your advice would be well appreciated.

FWR is a self-contained JFET buffer/amp circuit that gets installed into your Wah Wah pedal, giving it the ability to cut through any Fuzz Face or Fuzz Face clone. By essentially installing a "real" output section, the Wah Wah pedal becomes immune to the effects of loading, restoring range and depth to older, vintage Wah Wah pedals without affecting their vintage value. Connection wires: RED = +9 Volts DC; BLACK = Ground; White = Input; Blue = Output Volume: Trimmer offers continuous volume control with some available extra gain (around 6 dB). Some of the best Wah Wah pedals out there have an inherent boost that (without this mod) can't be attenuated without affecting the sound of the Wah. The Foxrox Wah Retrofit makes it possible to add or cut the level without affecting the Wah pedal's natural tone. It can also be built to give up to 15 dB of gain, available upon request. However, this is not recommended for Wah Wah pedals because of possible distortion during resonant peaks. Thanks for the link, but that really doesnt help me. The guess im needing more of where to attach the white and blue wires on the FoxRox mod. Foxrox talks alot about the blue wire on the pedal pot, I’ve already tried that and it didn't work. Thanks

Didn't really know or paid attention to the CAE in the title - that is not a classic bufferless wah, it doesn't need this mod and probably already has an output buffer. Even a classic 90s Crybaby has this extra stage.. IIRC
