I really dont get it, I guess im the only portishead fan who actually likes the new record. :scratch:

Nah, I like it too. IMHO they don't make bad albums..........just different ones.

The songs just don't do it for me like the two previous. It's not bad... just, well, you know... :|
I was absolutely in love with the first two the moment I heard them. And that very first one, around '94-'95... that was a life-changer to me, never felt the same about music since.... That's why the new one made me feel so :|
We should just talk about Portishead in this thread; they are much more worthy of discussion than the Dirty Boy piece of garbage.

how bout massive attack? i saw them at the Vic Theatre years ago with Horace Andy. fucking amazing.
