Easy one. MKII, the fuzz pot is wired at max on the board (1K) with a tone/filter (flesh) pot in it's place. 470R was bumped to 820R. Name kinda creeps me out, reminds me of those flesh lights!

Not 100% percent but this is how it looks from the gut shots on the net. Buddy above said it sounds good so what the hell. Go nuts!

funny they made the output cap "selectable" i always prefer when it's the input one that's like that, it gives a wider range of sounds...

I've tried both 100KB and 100KA for the volume pot and find that the 100KB has a better feel than the traditional 100KA thats used in the MKII circuit. i would definatley recommend using the 100KB. phibes, any thoughts on the volume pot taper? what do u think is in the original fleshhead?

My guess would be Linear.

Just noticed that I put the first 10K resistor in before the input cap so it would be acting like a 10k pulldown resistor. I've altered the layout on Photobucket so if you refresh the page you should be able to download the latest version in my post above.

This wee beastie is actually quite neat!
I have been comparing the schemo above to the 3 and 2 knob bender shematics over at Fuzz Central.
In my limited awareness it looks to me that the Fleshhead is a MKII with the Fuzz pot replaced by that 1k resistor to ground off Q3, incorporating the Tone control section of a MKIII, with a larger cap value (6.8nf VS. 2.2 nf).
I know I'm stating the bleeding obvious here, but for someone who has been umming and ahhing about whether to build a MKII or MKIII for the first time, it would appear that this straddles the fence quite nicely.

The one I posted above is good to go. Personally, I would use the wider pitch stripboard for it. It wouldn't be hard to convert a MKII pcb for this too.

Is there any place to get that wider pitch stripboard outside of making a huge order at allied? I have been trying to find it for my pedals and that seems to be the only place to get it in the states.

Anything that would work in a MKII should work here. Ideally you would want a set that will bias up properly with those values.

I have used Matsushita 2SB172's in a kit Tonebender build and in a few Treblebooster builds, and they have worked quite nicely for me. :thumbsup

Any interest or any point in a group buy for some of that there mojo-rific wider spacing vero?
I know that I would be up for some.

That looks great. What software did you use to draw the schematic?

I would, but I have no flipping idea where to get it, but I could check it out. I'm in Australia, so maybe I could find an alternate supplier for over here. No promises though! Weight wise I'm assuming postage over to the USA or wherever would be reasonable, it's not like I'd be putting a transformer in the mail. I'll have a sniff around.
