Yes, there was. When I find some time I have to look in my archive.
I even built 2 delay pcbs (4 stages) and added some mixer stuff to it. How it sounded ? Hmmm..... this was more than 25 years ago..... but as far as I remember .....after this long time, I think it sounded.....hmmm... it sounded like.... I think it sounded like a..... Phaser !

I was 10-12 years old then :)
thank you AG.... :thumbsup

what was the reason for not having more famous phasers made this way??? :?:  cheap nice sounding.....?

There were more phasers made this way, for example the Korg KPH-401 from the PME-40X. Fostex even built a compressor with this technology, the model 3070.
 cheap nice sounding.....?
I think the reason why this technology came out of use was the "digital era" which started at this time - even more cheaper compared to the possibilities.

An alternative "reinvented wheel" possibility along the same lines is the switched-capacitor "resistor." Like the PWM method, it requires both an LFO and HFO. However, instead of varying pulse-width to change resistance, you vary the frequency. It can also be done with CMOS analog switches, but there are also switched capacitor ICs available with some nice features.

I have a PWM limiter design that I'll put up here later today.

MXR envelope filters come to mind, especially the curren Auto-Q's

I've had a major computer disaster, with a rogue power supply destroying a RAID array and a motherboard. I'm currently building my system again from backups, but this is taking a while because the full-time job has become crazily busy recently. I'll be posting a whole lot of stuff in the next week or so, so keep an eye on the threads I've been contributing to....

Also - I'm NEVER going to trust a switched-mode power supply ever again! Both my desktop PCs are now powered by good, old fashioned linear power supplies with crowbar over-voltage protection!

Very interesting idea. similar to the MXR Envelope filter, I think MXR also made a phaser that used a 4066 PWM control.

Uuuh, thank you well! Nice! Maybe I'll give it a try though the use of 8 single op amps is a bit.... outdated.:D
it was the best of times,
it was the worst of times,
it was a noisy time,
it was the time of the 741 operational amplifier

( alas, soon it was to become the age of improvevents ) ... or was that "improvements"?

and thus, was born ....

the 742 ! :applause:
