Does anyone have some insight into the purpose of the LF356 section in this PWM gen? I can follow along and see that it's providing some negative feedback for the CA3140, but it seems to me that the circuit would still work if you removed all of that stuff. Is it just an elaborate way of controlling the offset of the LFO?

I mean, we've got a nice versatile lfo which realy needs a good phaser for it.

I know that the principe does work using the 4066 switches as a variable r, but the above linked schem by R.G. Keen seems not to be correct or work. I know about another guy at diystomp who seems to had worked with it successfully though

IC's for U6 are not 4046 but 4066, but I guess that You already knew that.
And I wonder if this can work with such a poorly regulated reference voltage Vb. You could try generating Vb with a LM386, or using an opamp as a Vb buffer. I think that's the key in this proposition from R.G. Keen. I have personally experienced very different results using PWM-based LFOs on my breadboard placing differently capacitors or even active components.

Basicly this: http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/ASMOP/asmopphase.gif though we did some things different and we're using an avr. Sorry, I can't provide a schem as it is not my work and me buddie denied to post it anywhere.

At the moment it's just a 4-Stage design. But sounds almost enough to me.

Yeah, that's becaus my mate did some seriously programming.

I already posted it but maybe you just missed it: The analog phaser part is controlled bei a digital avr that puts out a pwm. Tap Tempo would be also possible but would take even more time to programm and it is not sure if it will fit on the current used avr as it's memory is nearly completely used.
Sadfully Mictester seems to have to disappeard - I don't like to comment why this might have been. A fresh input for the analog part of the phaser would have been nice. Anyway...
