I'm wondering if I could build a millenium bypass onto a bit of perf or vero connected to the switch itself. Can't get a datasheet anywhere!

Yup... www.bitsbox.co.uk do the right type... i'm not definite but i'm pretttyyy sure i've seen these on someones perf board before, you could easily drill the holes slightly larger to accomodate anyway so I think you'll be okay, if I find a spare one about tommorow i'll see if it will go in vero without modification.
