diggin up an old one here.

i was gonna make a pulsar in my next round of pedals, but i really want that "shape" knob. tonepad doesnt have the version with that knob, just the square/sawtooth switch. that "shape" knob is what makes this tremolo.

The Tonepad Pulsar is a completely different design to the Pulsar here with the shape knob, the Tonepad version is based off the original 70s version, the version with the LFO that allows for the shape knob is a newish design, use the PCB layout and schematic in this thread if you want it. Or just buy one, they're fairly cheap really unless you're building because you want to build rather than save money of course.

could a clone of this one fit in a 125b enclosure?

Schematics Up above, make a PCB layout and find out!

My guess would be yes if you wanted it to enough.

I don't know if anyone else worked Scruff's layout yet but I put it together .. no solder bridges and I get a signal out but no trem .. any body else verify?

Oh wow, someone actually built my layout!

There is a mistake, Pin 4 is not grounded, Try attaching a wire from ground to it :slap:

Otherwise i'll look it over tommorow, can you put a picture up, wanna see how it builds up :thumbsup

Edit: Crap there's no Power to Pin 7 either! Attach a wire from 9V to there.

i decided to not spend the $50 and build a stereo pulsar instead :D i dont think ill make it in my first batch of pedals though. still need to prove myself.

For $50? May aswell buy it, you're not gunna build it that cheaply probably once you factor in PCB, enclosure etc.

And it might be True Bypass, might not, doesn't really matter, if it affects your tone, True Bypass it, if you don't notice it and you don't know if it's True Bypass or not... then who cares!
