Completed builds: Still a bit of a noob: Germanium Fuzz Face, Colorsound One Knob Fuzz (with 4 knobs and a switch!), a couple Zvex SHO's, LPB2, Atari Punk Console, Bazz Fuss, a Boost/Cut combo pedal, a couple of buffers, Random Number Generator, Pulse Wave Modulator, Woolly Mammoth, Zvex Machine, some oscillators and noisemakers...

Awesome! So how does this compare to the Woolly Mammoth?

The big difference between this and WM is the pot on the input and the switchable output cap?

Cool! Good work!

I've been considering purchasing one of these... does it sound good? I'd probably swap out some of the parts if I got one because I'm a mojo snob.

The WM sounds loads better. I think this pedal sounds really bad, I don't see why it should be an interesting pedal too have. The most important thing is the fuzz sound and that could have benefitted from a little more tweaking. (axis face would be a good start)

How do the pots in the schematic relate to the knob labels? I think...

Pot 1 = Relax/Push
Pot 2 = Pulse Width
Pot 3 = Fuzz
Pot 4 = Volume
Pot 5 = Tone

Is this correct?

Yes, I forgot to put the labels on. You are correct.

Any more information on the caps for the 'Subs' switch?

I read that; "position 3 is huge, 2 is medium and 1 has no bass left".

Thanks for the schematic ~arph!

Nope, I have no means of accurately measuring them.. neither have I breadboarded this.

I'd say one of the caps is around 10nF and the other say: .47uF

It's a high pass filter with the 10k pot to gound. So you can calculate some cutoff frequencies. the 100uF gives you a cutoff of 0.2 Hz so that is the Huge setting. The rest is a matter of taste.

Excellent work all! This is definitely going on the to-do list.

Those mystery caps, any chance of some good photos of them??

I can do good photo's, but they are unmarked smd caps, I would not know how you can tell their value apart from measuring them.

FWIW, I believe that the original PCB layout can be considered copyright as 'artwork.'
