I saw Blues Saraceno in a small clinic when I attended Berklee way back in 1990. He was the 'wunderkid' then...I think he was playing ESP's then, but I'm a bit fuzzy. I do remember him saying he didn't know any scales, he just played. Halfway through the clinic his Marshall half-stack blew up.
Good times.

it could be easier having a fixed small input cap (0.005 for example) with, in parallel, a bigger cap (1uF?) + a pot, cheaper than a bunch of caps and rotary switcher...

I used that approach for a bass trim on my TS-type pedal. Works like a charm. What value would you guys use for the pot? 50k??? Would it make much of a difference??
Thanks in advance!!

Ok sorry guys, I found the related topic under the name of Saraceno.
I'd be glad to see a Happy Saratoga layout !

A guy in a music store was telling me how much he just shelled out to buy a Dirty Boy Pedal. I blurted, "Good god how many 'boutique' brands are out there!" So help me I'm going to do a documentary on boutique pedal builders titled, FUZZY OVERDRIVE (being that these are the two pedals the majority of us build in our sleep).
So, I searched for the brand and browsed their site. After deciding that the Germanium boy was the best they had to offer I searched for material but found very little on the device. Not so much as a schematic or an unverified vero!
After some thought I wondered ... couldn't one achieve the same thing by dropping a tone frequency device such as Stellartone or THD's Quintet?

Haha, I had always heard of so much mojo about Blues' pedals...
I built a NPN Rangemaster with a rotary select input cap, just like this, haha. Had no idea that was the design here.
Gotta say, his PTP wiring gives PTP wiring a bad name. Sometimes it looks super cool. This is not one of those times...
