Small bear dont stock 'em, and I got a bit lost searching on mouser...
I *think* its a 30mm w10k

actually its 20mm travel.
have flicked an email to Boss, but I imagine they'll be cheaper elsewhere...
anyone?

Futurlec, Smallbear, Mouser don't stock 'em. Digikey have somethig which may or may not work, but they don't have the datasheet so I can check if it will fit (plus the minimum order is 1200 pieces)
Boss are being fairly uncooperative.
i guess i might be sh*t outta luck, huh? but I'd like to avoid having to buy and mod another Ge7...

A quick search turned up this:

Carbon film 10K ohms linear taper (B taper) 15mm insulated plastic shaft panel mount 31mm between screw holes with solder lugs. Made in Taiwan.

yeah, I had a look at those - the original one is only 6mm wide, finding something that is going to fit the available width seems to be the big problem.
also the original has 4 pcb pins arranged in a straight line..
probably my best shot at this stage is to find some one selling a dead ge7 I can use for parts
