Hey guys...I'm new here, and was wondering if anyone could help me to find a source for 1.5 Henry Inductors...I need a bunch of them, for custom "Vari-Tones" I build (for myself & friends), but can't find them at my local Radio Shack, etc. . any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

These large value inductors are so hard to find, but not really needed in this application.

get interstage audio coupling transformers from mouser.com and use the outer two
primary leads as an inductor. You can cut the rest of the leads off.

42TL022 1.5K Ohms .56 Henry
42TL021 4K Ohms 1.5 Henries
42TL018 7K Ohms 2.6 Henries
42TL019 10K Ohms 3.75 Henries
42TL025 17K Ohms 6.4 Henries
42TL017 20K Ohms 7.5 Henries

Dan Torres uses the 021 in his mid cut control.

Thanx guys...I've been using Dan's mods for years (he's a really cool guy to talk to), that's where I got my ideas (and also from www.alexplorer.net ). I also get stuff from Mouser (although Allied's catalog has way more stuff- www.alliedelec.com , their catalog weighs 6.5lbs!). I'll check your suggestions out...thanx again.
