Where can I get boxes like these?
Closest I've seen is the stuff at pedalenclosures.com. Anything closer?

Me too!
I sometime want to build a tonebender with a fitting enclosure...
The only ones I could find were these:
http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg16.htm
Maybe there's a way to get some manufactured in a smaller quantitiy (100 or so) via a group buy...
Does any of you guys have one of those original enclosures & is able to measure everything/make a CAD model? My dad works in a small factory building medical equipment/parts, maybe he could build some...

Speaking as a machinist, don't bother trying to have them made unless you have piles of money to burn or the equipment to do it all yourself.
Most shops charge in the neighborhood of $60-100+ per hour in addition to the cost of tooling and materials. You would have to start with a solid block of aluminum, machine the inside, the outside
and still have to make a coverplate for the bottom.
Find out where the foundry is where they are cast and see if you can get buy some "seconds", defects or raw castings. They would take a bit of rework but it would substantially cheaper.
Perhaps Colorsound may even have some they may sell. It never hurts to ask.
