The Cornish MultiFX Switching System...

I am wondering...
Do we really know how the switching system in Cornish's multiFX works? I know he buffers each pedal, but i read in the G-2 thread something about the switching that made me curious to ask.
It seems that each pedal's input buffer really becomes the output buffer for the next pedal, right? So, if only one effect is on it should be
input-->standard input buffer-->[effect1buffer-effect1]-->output
or
input-->standard input buffer-->[effect1buffer-effect1]-->[effect2buffer--effect2]-->output
Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated! I know he doesn't use true bypass, but i guess i just figured that he meant that he puts a buffer in each TB loop, but i always wondered how, since he uses DPDTs...and i have seen that one side of the switch is used for the LED...
Thanks!
