did it finally work?

i always thought that R45 and R48 (in your schem at page 1) were drawn wrong, around IC2B. That looks like a typical inverting mp, R45 should go to the opamp input, not before the other 100k. That stage should serves two ways, in conditionig the signal for the next BBD stage: adjust levels (above o below unity gain) and set the bias

I haven't back to this yet, but I will soon. There's no PCB image to post yet...not until I can get a working version.

cpm: thanks for the heads-up. I'll take another look at that.

its not that old, but it is a work in progress. madbean is very upfront when things go down, and he'll definitely be posting here when hes done.

I'm finishing the Univibe project first, then this (this one's harder, I think). But, I will finish the Dirtbag ASAP. I think it's like 85% there. Or some other random number.

This will be a big one to me.

It is sad to know everyone else also has to do adult things more than fun hobby things. real life is a bore most times. TY madbean.

Will you be having any boards made for this? I'd be in for that, I'm sure others would too.
KindaFuzzy - Looks like a blue nail polish and nutella sandwich.

Guitarlcarl - I did take offence at being called an idiot by a moron.

I don't do many large hand-made PCBs anymore but anyone else would be welcome to do so. I'm pretty burned out on etching and drilling, honestly.

I'm sure we could get a few 'teams of three' together and put them through Dorkbot.
Testing, testing, won too fwee

let me help if needed, i´m not here for pushing.

maybe we will implement the BBD section of the Behringer VM-1 that uses V3205 plus the second 3205 gain stage opamp.

this one sounds more similar at the DMM with a few mods, i own one and sounds amazing.

some reference video :

I think I will probably release the Eagle files with this one, too, so perhaps an enterprising dude could do a conversion. It won't be as straight-forward if you want to do the v3205....the power scheme will have to be completely redesigned and the layout altered accordingly. But, I think it is absolutely doable.

I'd also be interested in a Cool Audio chip version of it. Hunting down MNXXXX chips is wasted time, and money, IMO.
If I can be of any help, count me in.

if dirk did it in the memory baby design, we can do it too, maybe we cost more time, and maybe he will help us to do it.
