Hi Mikemaddux,
Here in Australia,Jaycar Electronics stock these 9mm PCB Mounting pots, you can also solder wires directly to the solder terminals, anyway, they stock 50kA(log taper) pots in these types, the catalogue number is RP-8616,and they cost $3.25 for a quantity of 1+,$2.75 for 10+,and $2.15 for 50+,are these what you are after?,if so,how many do you need?,I can get them for you and mail them to you if you like....

who else would stock this type?DrNomis wrote:Hi Mikemaddux,

jaycar has a few, but they're all linear and I've a bunch of builds I'm working on in 1590a enclosures which also need log pots (and some values these guys don't have). sure I could amend them by adding resistors, but I'd rather just get the right ones in the first place.
this particular type is desirable as the knobs I have (very small, but for this size or16mm pots) knobs will fit on the spline shaft (the ones mouser have are either an offset bevel, are round, or are round and like maybe 3mm diameter?)..
or these ones by alpha

would also be good.. just can't see who has this exact style...

No, that's in the central California area.
Not a freebie.
Smallbear sells those 9mm PCB mounted pots.
Not sure of manufacture of those though.

crap.. have small bear sorted themselves out yet? last experience I had with them was just awful (months of waiting, angry emails [from them] and general cluster fück wrt customer engagement/support).
I'm kinda loathed to deal with them after that, but if nobody else has the spline pots I may have to.
