Yes it was just another PCB layout lifted from an existing PCB layout and then denied. Like I said, if you don't see any issue then that's fine just move along, but I don't see anything wrong with someone pointing out the fact when someone has claimed the opposite, and so it's still relevant to the thread.

And no people don't have to scour the internet for their layout, but mictester was well aware of that layout after posting on the other recent Flatline thread, and then two days later this arrives. If you believe it's just coincidence, then fair play to you, you're a very trusting guy. These coincidences do keep popping up though.

Who cares? Its for the free use of everyone on this forum, its not for profit so what the big deal? If money was envolved, then that's a different story but until then, forgetabouttit! :thumbsup

I think you'll find plenty of people on here care about plagiarism, and if you think this forum is about the "free use of everyone", then you're sadly mistaken. But it's very generous of you to offer that philosophy after contributing a whole 4 posts to the cause.

Some things are worth more than money and cannot be bought and sold (though can be gained and lost) such as integrity and credibility. The fact that no money is involved is really irrelevent. It pisses me off to see people pass work off as their own when it so obviously is lifted from elsewhere. If you're ever original enough for it to happen to you I'm quite sure you'd be pissed off too.

Fair enough, I can respect that Frequencycentral. I can see you point if dude took a schematic and claimed it as his own or didn't say "this is essentially a (insert popular circuit name here) with a few tasty mods..." However its just not that important on my list of priorities worrying to death if someone took my idea for a PCB layout. That is what this thread has become at this point right? a PCB layout? common, get away from your computer screens, put your irons down, quit soldering, and enjoy life a little. sheesh. :slap:

How about a vero layout instead? I haven't verified this one yet, but I'm fairly confident it's OK.

Flatline vero layout
