LED Assemblies

Radio Shack has these little LED assemblies that are one single unit with current limiting resistor build in. They seem like a wonderfully solid idea to me, and they look cool to boot. The problem here is two-fold: they are $1.99 a piece, and I dont necessarily trust the quality of RShack products. So.....does anyone know anyone ELSE who makes a similar LED assembly?
Here's the Rshack one:

These are a good price and will be a bit more compact with them being standard 3mm LEDs. You'd still need to buy the bezels but I recently got 50 of the chrome screw in ones for about £7 and so still not bad.

Jaycar Electronics stock something similar to that, they stock leds mounted in chrome bezels,in 5mm and 3mm diameter types, ranging in colours from green,to red, yellow, and blue,i tend to use the blue 3mm types in my pedal builds,çause I think they look cool, the blue leds tend to be very bright,so I need to use larger value current limiting resistors than normal, which is easy enough to do anyway....

ahhh yeah see I liked the idea of an all-in-one assembly with the resistor. mount it, connect the leads, and call it a day.
