That's not a gutshot.. this is a gutshot.
Sorry, this is as good I could get without removing wires.. which I've just soldered back so i can play it..
Not much to see.. a bunch of old Greenies... very cramped build.

Yes.. the enclosure and board size is the same as the earlier FM-2, which was a simpler circuit.. so I guess they had to cram everything onto this size board or make a new enclosure.

Speaking of Ace-Tone, I'm just servicing an old Ace-Tone amp......

I thought I'd bump this thread up since I can't possibly be the only one who still wants a look at the schematic on the FM-3.
Or maybe I just need to get a life.

Guys, it's traced and I've built a working copy that sounds like it should.
I just need a clear hour or two to draw up a schematic to post (I'm not too fast on the drawing)... and I haven't had it.
I'll try to get it done over the week-end.
If you take a Triangle Muff, the changes are few..
Less gain on the first stage and a 3300pf cap in parallel with the input resistor.
Lower value on the feedback caps (250pf).
Slighty different values on the tone components, but similar effect.
The volume pot is located before the last stage rather than after.

That's one of my pet peeves about a lot of the DIY pedals forums -- tons of dead links. I go searching for something, find it, and then there is no file anymore. It would be nice to host all that stuff on some private server so it would stay around longer than several months or whatever.

2SC1000.. all caps are Greenies except the 250 and 3300pf which are ceramic.
