Should have dual secondaries with 15VAC each and ca. 70-80mA. A bit more current does not hurt.

Would you be willing to locate a mouser part number for me? I was looking through the catalog, but man i keep getting lost.

that looks to run on 230v though, over here in the states we need 120v

Hi all,
I've got a troubles to wire mine too
I've recently baught a DC alimentation for my pedalboard who have a 12V outpout :
http://www.thomann.de/fr/harley_benton_powerplant.htm
So I have wired it like this :
But my stompboxe doesn't work , so can someone tell me what's wrong
My last question will be about LED wiring, does is this OK ? :
Many thanks for your help

For this pedal you need a bipolar power supply so you need an AC power source. The transformer in the diagram provides 12 volts AC from the secondaries and the diodes in the diagram then split off a positive and a negative supply which go to the regulators. A DC supply will not work.

Hi,
you can try and use the 12vAC output on the powerplant and wire it directly to the diodes. Maybe you'll have to use 9v regulators if the rectified DC does not exceed 12v. Don't know for shure, though!
Greetings,
Timo

Hi all,
Thanks for your help

I will use 12 AC output

I believe on 12V AC will not be enough - you need two of them.

Hi Analogguru,
Why should I need 2 ?
The stompboxe work under 12 V AC & I was thinking that if I will wired it like that :
it will be OK but it's not the case

The fx uses a bipolar +/-12V supply derived from an ac psu. This is 24V in total, hence the specified 15-0-15 transformer (supplies 30V). You cannot power this effect with a single 12V supply, whether ac or dc.

Ok, I haven't seen the problem under this angle.
So I will order a transformer as described in part list

This trafo will work well ?
http://www.banzaieffects.com/Hahn-BVEI3 ... 24062.html
As suggested by ODwan , the 80-90 mA should be total (like 2x40-45) or for each side (2x80-90) ?
thanks
