Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.
I'm wanting to try some IC's in place of transistors in some fuzz i got goin on and i was hoping some of you guys might know what, if there is, dual transistor IC equivalents of:
2N3904
2N5089
2N2222
BC109C
???
kinda like the TO-116 MPQ3904 but only two transistors.
i couldnt find anything much online so i hope you can help.
thanks peoples!
The most spreaded transistor-array is the CA3046/CA3086.
There exist dual-transistors but they will we more expensive - like the LM 394. Most of the time they will have common collector or common emitter and be hardly available.
I can see no real benefit by using a transistor-arrayinstead of single ones.

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.
There are no high voltage/high beta/low noise quad equivalents to the 2N5088 that I know of. Probably the THAT Co. comes closest.
However, with 2N5088's costing $0.05 each, you can afford to build a matching fixture and find four that you can epoxy together to a strip of aluminum to make an almost-quad pretty easily.
thanks RG!
i ended up finding one of the ones i wanted in a TO-116 DIP.
MPQ2222 is basicaly what i was after, although i wanted a dual transistor, it dont make a difference. i found them at jameco for $2.79ea, dearer than 4 PN2222A's but still inexpensive imo.
