Information
looking for .003uf and .005uf, about 5 of each. just for stompbox use, so high voltage isn't too important...
Smallbear don't stock anything that large, mousers minimum order/shipping is way too expensive.
any other sources, or anyone got some to sell - i'm in New Zealand, but international shipping shouldn't be too bad.
Cheers,
Jeremy

Why do you want a silver mica so big? I'd go for polystyrene instead if you're after mojo parts, film if you're not...

Information
I've seen them that big from some eBay sellers, specifically the Russian K31 caps. But although they're really cheap, they only do them in bulk lots and so it doesn't look quite as attractive if you only need 5. I've only got mica's up to 820pF, so personally I'd do exactly what HHE suggests and use polystyrene if that option is available to you and there are no physical limitations.

Information
yeah, those values did seem quite large for what I had in mind, but i'm going by someone else's reccomendation. Figure I'll try 300/500pf (about 70c a pop at smallbear) first, and see how that goes. seems more intuitive. otherwise I'll just try Poly's etc.
