As title says, looking to buy a few of them (at least five). And please, save your "you can get close enough with 0.047 uf " and "there's even 20% tolerance anyway" And I mean it :horsey:

Ceramics preferred, but all others work as fine too.

hi,

do they have to be brand new components?

you can find these seemingly odd values like .05 caps in almost anything old like radios, tape decks, and televisions from the 50s 60s and 70s. my old man has things like this lying around his workshop, some real odd values and voltages too.

i'd just go to a second hand shop.

cheers and good luck.

I know exactly what you mean! Soon he'll be telling us that some of the caps "sound better" than others....
