Hey all!

Ok, so I was listening to a lot of Muse lately and their bass player uses a Muff and an "Human Gear Animato Distortion"; someone knows what happens inside one????

All I know is that they are made in Japan

Strain very comfortable with DISUTO - Solutions. Anima - even the wild, and Sum - Zhu also. In other words, variable range is very wide, to accommodate the many songs can be. However, this development is that in the not-so-high-Ha - is not in dollars. Most Ha - The dollar event - on the beauty and attack (stroke) solid DISUTO - whether or backgammon. What DISUTO - a solution? It is the most interesting and would be a quick speaking, comfort and keeps us interested by that sum. OLD Normally, the distortion is said to be rat (OLD) is a good distortion but have even - to a point on the end. Also, many of those seen in the cloudy Strain, with a squash RETA unlistenable Strain, and these anima - G is irrelevant. Sorry for digging up this zombie thread, but I have in my possession an Animato and I'd be glad to open her up and take some pics for y'all if wanted... if someone can explain how to safely de-goop the damn thing.

I'd love to see those pictures!!!

Don't know much about de-gooping, but I did see there was a thread on it: https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=351&start=0&hilit=goop+tutorial

Did you read the thread? Your question was answered 5 years ago:

He says the Animato is a copy of the Rat. Assuming he's right, look up Rat schematics to get a good idea of how this pedal works.

Picassochild knows his Rat clones. If he says it's a Rat clone, we can be 99.99999% sure it is.

Hmmm, must say that those pics make 'that' Animato look more like a Fuzz Face, germanium or not. On the first pic two huge transistors are visible...... on the second a HUGE voltage regulator is seen. And no IC :)

IMO those are pictures of two different pedals. The bottom picture has wires going to different places and no sign of the big transistors. :block:
