I really like the way he set up the pedallayout and his pedals, any chance photo of solderside? :D

No, I should desolder the pots to see it... I prefer to do'nt do it. Sorry

lama00, many thanks for the gutshots! but, please feel free to attach photos. it just makes sure that there are no broken links later. this looks like an interesting circuit, kudos to mr. faifield.

Pretty box, nicely built, not a clone... Why can't all boutique be like this? :)

I didn' find how to edit my first post, so here are the pics:

That's not at all necessary, you can take off the knobs and loosen the screws on the pots. The the board can be lifted out and put back without desoldering. We just need one good high resolution pictures for the traces side. You can make the pic and put it right back. Decoding the resistor colors will be harder from the pictures...

Ok, I'll try it asap.

yes, closer shots of the top might help for clearer resistor decoding. cap values as well as transistor and IC model #'s will of course help as well. thanks for reposting!

This looks like a wild beast.....

Some crazy fuzz sounds there, you like it lama?

Yes, I like it. I never tried a fuzz that sounded so different from the other.. really amazing..

Unfortunaly it'll be hard to trace it... the solder face shows nothing...

Very nice of you!! :applause: Great job!

No tracks whatsoever then? Can you spot accurately the pads that do connect to the ground plane (for reference so that you can build the thing back)? It shows more than what you think...

Cheers again! :thumbsup

So I guess there are no traces on the bottom? Or can you get solder mask so thick in covers everything?

I don't understand exactly what you mean.. you want more accurate pics of the solder side?

No, just note which pads are connected to the ground pad, and which aren't... Could you add some color spots with a graphics software? Your pics are accurate, but I believe we don't see all the connections on the solder side... Anyway, what you've done already is great... :applause:

One pot lug is missing solder BTW...

If that's a four layer I think we may as well give up now. Forget goop, 4 layer boards are the greatest copy protection there is....

3 band FET fuzz with a circuit to split the signal and a Freq control to decide where... I think the time would be better spent designing something to those specifications from scratch.

Any idea about these optocouplers?

They're a mystery. Some kind of limiting or compression? There are op-amps in there.
