Did the memory problems that some have reported been fixed? Sometimes the problem is the size of the java permgen memory. That can be increased with an option in the java opts like "-XX:MaxPermSize=128M". As more, new objects are added this memory can fill up and show an error like "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space". This is especially true if you are running a 64-bit JVM.

Just spotted one bug: When I'm changing Hookup Wire points counts from four to two funny things happen. Wire bends himself, and it back to straight after a second or two...

BTW, here's another sample of what DIYLC can do. Not quite finished yet, but shows a little creativity how to do the twisted wiring

EDIT: File updated with pdf, as in jpg you can see shit - if your lucky

Love the twisted wire.
Did it take a really long time, or do you have some secret way of doing it?

That's a pretty cool looking layout for a Hiwatt sinner..... :thumbsup

I've just finished doing a hand-drawn layout for my MXR Dynacomp which I built on a piece of pad-per-hole board, I originally designed the layout using an earlier version of DIYLC, because I've lost the original layout file, I've had to do some reverse-engineering of my MXR Dynacomp pedal in order to create a new layout file, serves me right for not backing it up..... :slap:

Yeah, I know the pain. After I lost all my data TWICE during my PC fail I do HD backup every week

That Hiwatt layout is not finished yet, I'm still trying to get as much picts and info of old DR103's as I can get to know it better

The good news is that I'm about 80% finished in re-creating the layout, this time I'll be sure to back it up.... :thumbsup

Knew I'd forgotten something..... :slap:

Here you go, I'm still learning how to create layouts, they'll get better as I get better.....

I tried attaching the layout file but for some reason it wouldn't let me do so..... :hmmm:

Right, this should work....*Fingers Crossed*... I've converted a png file of my MXR Dynacomp layout to a jpg file using a bit of software called Irfanview:

Cheers sinner, I based my layout on the artwork for an MXR Dynacomp PCB.... :thumbsup

What I need to do is to get my layouts a bit larger so that they're easier to read..... :thumbsup

One of the next layouts I might try attempting is a Pad-Per-Hole layout of a BK Butler Tube Driver which will allow the use of 24mm Alpha pots, since I seem to be unable to source 16mm Log Alpha pots from Jaycar Electronics, due to their limited range of pots....stay tuned, cause I might upload the layout in the Ready To Build Projects section if it all works out..... :thumbsup

That's why I'm putting my layout to turretboard.org as a pdf. You can zoom it all day long, quality is top notch and it's weight very little (Compared to png)

I finished DR103 BTW, now DR504 and CP103 time :D

Cool, have you thought of building a Hiwatt?, I wouldn't mind having a go at building one if I could get all the right bits and pieces together, perhaps something like a 2 X 12 Hiwatt combo amp or something like that.... :thumbsup

By the way, how's the Marshall Plexi coming along?..... :hmmm:

Thanks for the reminder sinner...... :thumbsup

Thank you so much for this great little app Bancika....much appreciated..... :thumbsup

I wish I could do it straight away, but I'm short with cash. I'm doing this just to get familiar with this circuit, I've learned a lot during amp draws
By the way, how's the Marshall Plexi coming along?..... :hmmm:
I'm starting from beginning :D I decided to forget about hard to source, and expensive vintage parts, and go with current production bits. I'm still out of transformers, so no idea when I'll be able to finish it up

I'm kind of in the same boat with my Soldano Slo 50 Clone rebuild, sinner, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to source the necessary Power/Output transformers here in Australia, and when you can find them, they cost an arm and a leg..... :thumbsup

I'll keep at it though..... :thumbsup
